How to Make Authentic Hibachi Steak & Shrimp at Home 🍣🔥

Want to recreate that delicious hibachi-style steak and shrimp at home? The key is high heat, butter, and the right seasonings!

Ingredients:

  • Steak (NY strip or filet mignon, cubed for better texture)

  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • Butter, garlic (minced), soy sauce, sesame oil

  • Salt, black pepper, lemon juice, teriyaki sauce

  • Optional: Flat-top grill or cast-iron skillet

Instructions:1️⃣ Sear the Steak:

  • Heat the grill/skillet on high and add sesame oil.

  • Add steak cubes and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until nicely browned.

  • Toss in butter and minced garlic for extra flavor.

  • Finish with a splash of soy sauce and a generous sprinkle of black pepper before removing from heat.

2️⃣ Sauté the Shrimp:

  • Using the same grill/skillet, add butter and garlic, then toss in the shrimp.

  • Cook until the shrimp turn pink (about 2 minutes per side).

  • Finish by coating them with teriyaki sauce for a deliciously glazed flavor!

3️⃣ Pair with Hibachi Fried Rice:

  • Use the leftover steak butter to fry rice, add egg, scallions, and soy sauce for an authentic hibachi-style side.
